Pant-y-Ffynnon

Pant-y-Ffynnon is a traditional Welsh farmhouse situated remotely in the hills above Lake Vyrnwy ( the largest lake in Wales).Its long history has culminated in its development as a residential outdoor pursuits centre, sensitively adapted to retain most of its original character.   Unique in its location, provision and philosophy, the site was originally chosen to cater to the needs of company training and development courses. We now welcome equally, fun and recreational groups.The centre is small and compact which creates an atmosphere to promote team work which is the basis of any groups success.

Sleeping is in three rooms one of  four and two of six, all in bunk beds with continental quilts. There are toilets and showers, a large kitchen dining room and a lounge area heated by an open fire to relax in. Drying and storage areas are available.  

Pant-y-Ffynnon can be booked fully catered with an activities programme, or as self-catering with activities optional. Courses and visits to Pant-y-Ffynnon are tailored to suit the needs of your group and budget, whether for business or fun, we are happy to discuss options with you. All of our activity sites are situated in unsurpassable locations in and around Lake Vyrnwy. With no near neighbours its just right for the more boisterous activities. We have exclusive rights on the magnificent Lake Vyrnwy for our water sports activities. We provide a safe and happy environment, and encourage everyone to participate in all aspects of their chosen course. At all times participants are under the close supervision of our experienced and qualified staff.

We believe that safety is of the utmost importance when undertaking outdoor pursuits. Bethania Adventure is able to arrange other accommodation locally, from campsites, b&b and the magnificent Lake Vyrnwy Hotel..... Also a good place for a meal or a well earned drink at the end of the day.  

Bethania Adventure is approved by the adventure activities licensing authority for the following activities : Kayaking, open canoeing, white water rafting, sailing ,rock climbing, abseiling, raft building, hill walking and mountaineering.

Clubs , organisations, or just a bunch of mates! We can provide or organise a programme to suit your requirements and be as structured or as relaxed as you wish. If you just want to visit for the day, we can help you enjoy the area to the full.

Bethania Adventure has over many years devised programmes specifically to bring out the best in individuals, whether it is in leadership skills or the ability to be a good team member. Courses are tailored to suit client needs and may include briefs and debriefs relating to the workplace. We can guarantee that course participants leave us with more self confidence and awareness of the value of the team. Whilst definitely not a holiday, we aim to make the course fun. Most participants love each day, if not the actual minutes and think back with appreciation to their experiences, long after they leave.

Conveniently located near Llanerfyl on the A458, Bluebell Park, central to a number of market towns, offers you a choice of camping in a semi - natural woodland with facilities for a camp fire, BBQ’s and picnic areas or on a flat, enclosed area by the lakes with parking proximity.

The campsite provides toilets, shower, walks, coarse fishing and remote control boating. A moderate menu of food, drink can be purchased on site. Suitable for disabled use.
