| Pant-y-Ffynnon Pant-y-Ffynnon is a traditional Welsh farmhouse situated remotely in the hills above Lake Vyrnwy ( the largest lake in Wales). Its long history has culminated in its development as a residential outdoor pursuits centre, sensitively adapted to retain most of its original character. Unique in its location, provision and philosophy, the site was originally chosen to cater to the needs of company training and development courses. We now welcome equally, fun and recreational groups. The centre is small and compact which creates an atmosphere to promote team work which is the basis of any groups success. FOR PLEASURE |

Gwaenynog is a beautiful farm in a quiet and scenic location, about 1 mile from the River Vyrnwy. Surrounded by 16 acres of land - a mixture of fields, woods and wetland; there’s a lot of wildlife and flora, plus a variety of birds, including Peregrines and our resident Tawny Owl. There are extremely comfortable beds, powerful showers, sumptuous and generous towels, fragrant shower gels and shampoos, a choice of teas and coffee in all the rooms and fresh milk, flat screen TV’s with Freeview & DVD players, and free wifi; all with varying views from every window. We offer tea and homemade cake or biscuits after your journey to help you unwind, so you can relax in the guest lounge or out on the patio and start the wind-down process. After a relaxed night's sleep, rise for a leisurely cooked breakfast of locally produced ingredients or perhaps something lighter. Our breakfasts are plentiful and varied, including for vegetarians, Coeliacs or we can accommodate other allergies too - if you let us know in advance; and all made from local produce. Bordered by ancient woodland and hedgerows that offer seclusion, the B&B and campsite offers some wonderful views. You can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet that is synonymous with Gwaenynog. Quiet country lanes, ideal for walking or cycling, can join up with marked walks such as Glyndwr’s Way or Ann Griffiths walk (a mile away); or utilise other public footpaths and bridleways that cross the surrounding farmland. Or walk to the local pub (2.5m). Fortified by the breakfast, you can decide where to go, as we are centrally located for visiting various locations. So why not visit Mid Wales - and stay at Gwaenynog Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, on what we hope will become a regular basis.
